I was blog surfing in the middle of last night and came across a blinkie that says WOYWW...What's On Your Workspace Wednesday. Each Wednesday you can upload a photo of your workspace to stamping-ground.blogspot.com and show the world what project you are working on. Kind of a clever idea to get inspiration for projects and organization. I thought about signing up to play but the more I thought about it the more I realized I don't even craft at my workspace. So far it's just a goal to one day have all my scrap crap in the same room and a space on my desk large enough to place a 12x24 scrapbook LO to work on.
Early in the spring I started moving my craft room from one downstairs bedroom to the other (larger) room. The project became overwhelming so it has sat static for a couple months now. Which brings me to the title of my post. I decided rather that join WOYWW I would begin my own Wednesday campaign: WMD - Where's My Desk?!? Here are photos of the baseline. Brace yourself. This is the RED wall. I love this IKEA space. One day all the stuff I need at my fingertips will be stored on these shelves to which my desk is attached. Currently things have just kind of fallen where they landed in the move.
This the the south wall of the new craft room, or B-room, formerly known as the Boy's room. When I say I'm going to my Broom... this is where I'm headed. Yes, it locks from the inside; I have the only key. One day the bookshelf and file drawers will NOT be empty and sitting in front of my paper stash.
This is Embellishment central. one day my cricut will live in this space attached to my computer where I can cut what I want. (Advertisement alert!) Thanks to the Make the Cut computer program I really can cut what I want with my Cricut and Expression. LOVE LOVE the MTC program. If you have a cricut you should really check it out. And if you buy it through Scrappydew.com you get a cool starter package of cute SVG files valued up to dollars! AND if you buy NOW the MTC program is on sale. Sorry :( I got carried away.
Sadly, this is a sampling of the stuff that is still waiting to be moved from the C-room (former Craft room, future guest or Company room). One day there will be a guest bed in this very spot. Ugh! I have too much stuff!
